As a Program Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the operational aspects of a designated program, ensuring compliance with policies, achievement of quality standards, and effective accomplishment of service and project objectives. Your role involves managing interdependencies among multiple projects and cross-functional teams, making decisions within guidelines to ensure seamless integration, product manufacturability, reliability, safety, and quality. You will also take responsibility for budget monitoring, contract review, and implementing corrective actions, while analyzing and refining strategies for enhanced cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

    Monitor and serve as a liaison for operations related to assigned program to ensure that policies and procedures are followed, goals and quality are being met, and service and project goals are being accomplished effectively.
  • Manage and make decisions for all aspects of program or account, within guidelines. This role specifically manages interdependencies & integration among multiple projects, teams & stakeholders, and works with cross-functional teams to ensure product manufacturability, reliability, serviceability, safety & quality.
  • Initiate corrective actions as necessary as they relate to the program or account.
  • Develop systems to provide for proper evaluation, control, and documentation of assigned activities.
  • Assist in the development and monitor the program's or account's budget and results.
  • Assist with contract review and meeting the requirements.
  • Analyze strategies for cost effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the sales forecasting function.
  • Administer Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to project plans and timelines to be met by internal and external resources.
  • Assist with coordinating product testing and product certification.
  • Prepare various documents and reports as needed.
  • Provide leadership on program or account.
  • Develop and monitor the program's or account's budget and results.
  • Responsible for adherence to contracts and meeting the requirements.

This position pays: $109,000-$145,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred electrical and/or mechanical engineering experience
  • Demonstrate the ability and track record of leading in project/program delivery, specifically related to hardware and/or software development
  • Preferred experience with hardware & software development as it relates to electronics (ECUs), introduction of new hardware into manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing/implementing New Product Introduction (NPI) Programs and Release to Manufacturing (RTM)
  • Familiar with PCB design methodology
  • Experience working with manufacturing vendors, contract manufactures to introduce new products to market
  • Familiarity with electronic assembly & manufacturing
  • Contributes to the team in an above average manner.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or other program management tools
  • Capable of handling larger/key accounts, or specialized/target markets.
  • Knowledge of the business side and contributes to strategic decisions.
