Your Role

As a Gensler Project Architect, you will lead a team of architects and designers to deliver unparalleled architectural projects dedicated to improving health through design excellence. As a member of our growing and highly collaborative Healthcare team, you will leverage your industry experience and technical acumen to drive client projects from concept through build, while cultivating client relationships. What You Will Do

  • Lead technical guidance, providing creative and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges, and formulate design presentation strategies
  • Manage client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, civil and other consultants
  • Lead communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials
  • Contribute to the maintenance and oversight of the project manual and specifications
  • Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI's during construction
  • Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited school
  • 10 + years of project experience in an architectural practice
  • Professional licensure is required
  • Experience delivering healthcare buildings highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) required
  • Enscape, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Rhino and Microsoft Office, a plus
  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations and codes (FGI and NFPA) preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills; able to lead and guide our teams and clients with confidence
  • Strong design and production skills with large or complicated architectural projects
