Job Description

The CRC Process Engineer works as part of the Customer Repair Center staff. Designs and maintains strategy and implementation of refurbishment/repairs process and documentation for products/FRUs that are replaced in the field. Responsible for execution of ECOs necessary to support the Repair Center objectives. Responsible for the creation, maintenance and obsolescence of the Work Instructions necessary to refurbish/repair products.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequence and processes related to the refurbishment and repair of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and complete units
  • Design and construct or specify and purchase electrical, mechanical and/or software tools and fixtures for performing various tasks in a safe, efficient, repeatable and cost-effective manner. Perform or coordinate the tooling qualification
  • Identify and qualify new CRC tooling or test equipment
  • Support all aspects of technical repair and refurbishment efforts in the repair center
  • Hands on support assisting technicians to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Review and analyze existing repair processes and make suggestions on improvements and streamlining.
  • Reduce repair costs and ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Establish repair and quality inspection protocols for equipment.
  • Keep records of all equipment services, repairs and maintenance completed
  • Assess current test equipment in place, develop regular service and maintenance schedules and make recommendations on upgrades

  • Requirents:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum three(3) years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Working knowledge of Lasers, optical alignment, test tool calibration and testing of product sub-assemblies. Maintain laser lab safety systems and ensure laser safety standards are met.
  • Familiar with DFT, GMP, and ISO 9001
  • Ability to read, interpret, and execute technical drawings and diagrams.
  • Experience with medical device manufacturing and optics assembly desirable
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

The hourly pay range for this position is $43.00 -$54.00.

The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.

This position is also eligible for a performance bonus.
