A week in the life of aDB2DBA:
- Provide database design, and subsequent implementations and support for high performance, highly available (24x7) and scalable database application systems.
- Design, develop and manage large, high performance, high availability DB2 database systems.
- Provide DBA support on mainframe DB2 environment across Development, Test, Integration, UAT and Production DB2 (4-Way DB2 Data sharing) environment.
- Manage and provide database development, implementation, and operational support.
- Database Reporting lead for data warehouse applications supporting Federal projects.
- Serve as a technical lead and SME related to mainframe and DB2-related topics.
- Provide DBA support covering on-call for various applications.
- Involve in DB2 upgrade from V10 to V11.
- Builddata flow and business models to translate user requirements into various functional specifications.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
