A week in the life of aSenior Network Engineer:
- Collect requirements, design networks, configure and deploy hardware, secure the networks, and maintain network security and configurations as requirements evolve.
- Troubleshoot network and application issues using firewall logs, switch packet capture tools, and Wireshark.
- Manage daily operations of amulti-node, multi-network, multi-vendorenvironment.
- Configure Cisco Routers/L3 switches for EIGRP using route redistribution, filtering and securing the network routes using encryption and authentication for multiple tenants.
- UpgradedCisco Catalystswitches and routers with IOS images.
- Maintain the Enterprise network by building, configuring and troubleshooting serial and ethernet interfaces aligned with client specifications.
- Monitorinter-network connectivity between the client's national nodes and field sites.
- Coordinate network engineering activities including installations, implementations, patches, hot fixes and upgrades to software/hardware.
- Maintain network security and configurations beyond industry standards to meet custom mission requirements.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
